Kayaking on Long Island - Learn about the many different types of kayaks and which one is right for you, a brief overview of  basic strokes and rescues, how to buy a kayak and the many places on Long Island where you can kayak. 

Kayaking Stroke Clinic – More extensive lecture and practice on the most common Kayaking  strokes - Forward and Reverse Sweep Strokes, Power Stroke, Draw Stroke, Braces and Rudder Stroke. 

Kayaking Rescue Techniques - Lecture and video presentation on various types of self and group rescue and Eskimo rolling.                                                 

Kayaking Related Lectures 

The Wild Ponies of Assateague Island – Lecture on the wild horse populations of the eastern United States – especially Assateague Island Va. & Md., and how they got there. 

The South Shore Gold Coast - history  of the Connetquot River area – Oakdale and Great River,  and the millionaires who built their mansions there.
